Tara Hull presents a donation to South Nodaway School for physical education needs. Their school was awarded the funds for their participation in Health 4 Life. Examples include: community health education, community-based clinical services (such as free screenings) and support groups. 3,170 $101,143 Health Professions Education: Hospital clinical and non-clinical student mentoring for internships, graduate projects, clinical rotations and pre-med rotations. 128 $25,333 Financial and In-kind Contributions: Include funds and in-kind services donated to the community for activities or causes. 2,865 $253,527 Community Building Activities: Programs that address the root causes of health problems, such as poverty, homelessness and environmental problems. These activities/initiatives often focus on environmental strategies, economic development and leadership, advocacy, and support that could indirectly affect the health of the community. 403 $121,963 Community Benefit Operations: Include costs associated with dedicated staff, community health needs assessments, and other costs associated with community benefit strategy building and operations. This included not only traditional care, but also programs and services we deliver outside our walls that support and promote community health and well-being.
